A very unusual little water bird, the Little Grebe is the smallest European member of its family. It is found throughout most of the world though not here in Australia. The closest we have is the Australasian Grebe.
This skull is complete with all bones, beak Sheaths, and even it's sclerotic eye rings.
A very rare little species for collections here in Australia!
