Refund policy

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns on skulls only up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition. Please note if the item arrives at our workshop damaged or in different condition from when dispatched from Ornithological Osteology you will be liable for the full price. 

Once your refund is approved will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

We do not accept returns on skeletons or commissions. 

Faulty/damaged

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at ornithological.osteology@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. 

We take the utmost care to pack every skull and skeleton as carefully as possible, accidents can and do happen during shipping. All skulls are bubble wrapped and padded safely in a box, while skeletons are filled and wrapped in cotton stuffing, bubble wrapped in a small box, then put inside a larger box with more padding and stuffing to minimise jostling during transport.


We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
