A rare opportunity to own a pathological hornbill skull with a natural deformity. This was a captive bird, and due to an injury its beak has become much shorter than regular.
Like most hornbill species, they are dimorphic and only the males have the larger, brightly coloured bills, as opposed to the plain black females.
This skull is imported from Czech Republic and is professionally cleaned, degreased and whitened. It is complete with all bones including quadrates and pterigoids.
